About Our Name

Principals Kevin Anthony and John Knox first crossed paths in the early 1990s at the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons, where they both worked in the team’s front office, Kevin in finance and John in business operations. In choosing a name, they wanted to recognize the origin of their professional relationship, so they selected Peregrine, a type of falcon.

Peregrine (pronounced PEAR-a-grin) means “traveler”, and this beautiful, noble bird of prey can be found nearly everywhere on Earth. We hope clients will find that certain of the Peregrine's traits, namely its keen eyesight and intelligence, characterize the way we conduct our business. Our objective is to have an eye for intelligent investments, and we will hunt for outstanding opportunities around the world.
